I had never considered waxing until I found a Groupon that took me to Alan. His professionalism made my first appointment a little less intimidating and made me a regular customer. Alan is passionate about his work and has dedicated a lot of time to being proficient. He is quick and I won’t say painless (because let's face it waxing isn't a painless procedure) but he is attentive to his customer and will let you rest if you need it. Thank you Alan, I HIGHLY recommend you and would not trust another person to wax me.

Alan is great for waxing and skin care! I have been going to Alan for my waxing and skin care needs for almost 5 years now. He is very knowledgeable, skilled, and is very thorough. He is a good communicator during my treatments and makes every visit pleasant. I recommend Alan to anyone who may need waxing. I've been using Alan Williams for men's waxing for a while now. He is very professional, knowledgeable and does an excellent job. I travel a lot. So every time I'm in the San Francisco area, I schedule an appointment to see Alan. I've tried other services in NYC, and in the San Francisco area. None of them even come close to the personal attention and quality of service I receive form Alan. He's one of the best. I will keep coming back. I highly recommend his men's waxing service.

He cuts my hair and waxes body parts as part of my male grooming regiment. I have seen Alan for years now. He is kind, courteous and professional. My favorite is to have my nose hairs and ears waxed. He also waxes private areas and has always made me feel relaxed and comfortable. For me Body Hair and exercise don't mix and after years of body grooming a friend suggested I try waxing. More than a bit of research later I found myself at Alan's Salon. DEAN C. Pinole, CA Update - Okay, I'm back to RAVE about the back and upper-arm hair removal Alan performed in June 2011! He waxed me in a way that, to my surprise, was WAY LESS painful than I thought it'd be. At first I was skeptical 1) with how much it might hurt and, 2) how long before the hair would actually take to start growing back. I used to use a store bought hair removal gel but it only lasted about 10 days before my hair began to grow back. After Alan waxed me, it’s literally been 4 weeks and the hairs are just barely starting to grow back! Alan even told me this would be the case. I'm so happy it didn't hurt, but was a minor discomfort, of course, and I'm THRILLED at how long it's lasted, not to mention the great price he charges. I'll be going back in August for another service.

I've been going to Alan for haircuts and massage for the past eleven years. He does a great job and takes his time. His new salon in downtown Walnut Creek is wonderful. I had my first waxing from Alan last week and the experience could not have been better. Alan not only did a great and thorough job, but his professionalism and calm manner made me comfortable from the start. He explained everything before it happened, so I knew exactly what to expect. He was also a great conversationalist and the time spent discussing travel, business, etc. passed quickly. I already scheduled my next appt. before I left his wonderful salon and would highly recommend him to anyone.
